Barnes & Noble have started a DVD sale. They are offering hundreds of DVDs in a 3 for $20 deal. Among the DVDs on offer are both classic and recent movies, so this sale is well worth a look.

Something for our visitors from Germany this morning: online DVD rental service Lovefilm.de offers a 14-day free trial period. You can test any of their packages for this two week period, free of charge. Just cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period if you don’t want it to turn into a paid subscription. Blockbuster offers a 14-day free trial period on their “Blockbuster by mail” and “Total access” products. You can choose if you want to be able to have access to one, two or three DVDs or BluRay disks (at no extra charge) at a time. You can return the disks free of charge by mail – and with the “Total access” package, you can even exchange the disks in your nearest Blockbuster store up to five times. Great if you just can’t wait for the mail.
